Greetings to Jo Yong Won from Chairman of Standing Committee of NPC of PRC

Jo Yong Won, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, on March 26.
The message extended sincere congratulations to Jo Yong Won on his election as Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK at the First Session of the 15th SPA.
In recent years, under the strategic guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the China-DPRK relations have entered a new historic period and they are developing in a sustainable and stable way, it stressed.
The message expressed the willingness to actively promote exchange and cooperation between the legislative bodies according to the common understanding by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries and thus contribute to developing the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation onto a higher stage.
Meanwhile, Gustavo Porras, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Nicaragua, sent a message of greetings to Jo Yong Won who was elected as Chairman of the SPA.
