National fine art exhibition opens
  A national fine art exhibition opened to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
  Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are pictures depicting the immortal Party-building exploits and noble personality of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who have led the Party along the road of victory for 80 years since its founding.
  Also on display are fine art works such as sculptures, craftworks and embroideries showing the struggle of the Korean people who are achieving miraculous victories despite all the challenges under the leadership of the Party.
  The opening ceremony was held at the Korea National Art Museum in Pyongyang on October 2 with the attendance of Ju Chang Il, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and working people in the city.
  Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.
  After the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
