Choe Ryong Hae gives field guidance at Samjigang and Taechong farms
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field guidance at the Samjigang Farm in Jaeryong County of South Hwanghae Province and the Taechong Farm in Unpha County of North Hwanghae Province.
He encouraged the agricultural workers devoting themselves to carrying out the immediate farming processes and learned about the farming.
He stressed the need to set the harvest time properly on the basis of the calculation of the ripening rate of the grains and the climatic conditions of the regions and make foresighted preparations for operating farm machines including tractor and mobile rice combined thresher so as to finish the harvesting and threshing in a short span of time.
Looking round the paddy fields into which the green cultivation and fish farming method of Korean style was introduced, he said the validity and vitality of the Party policy and the economic effectiveness of the fish farming in paddy fields should lead to the substantial improvement of living standards of the agricultural workers.
