Women's union officials and members meet with war veteran
Women's union officials and members met with a war veteran at the Hall of Women in Pyongyang on the 24th on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Present at the meeting were officials of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, and officials and members of its organizations in the city of Pyongyang. War veteran Han Tong Su said the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is a brilliant fruition of the gifted wisdom and outstanding leadership of the great leaderKim Il Sung and his great trust in and love for the service personnel of the People's Army. He told impressively that he unexpectedly met Kim Il Sung on the rigorous road to the front in October 1950 and that the soldiers of the People's Army, who kept in their hearts the conviction of sure victory given by the iron-willed brilliant commander, inflicted wholesale deaths upon the aggressors through decisive battles.
The speakers expressed their resolution to become genuine patriotic women propelling the overall development of the country by learning after the noble mental world of the victorious wartime generation.
