DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
At the construction site for building 10,000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area, he learned in detail about the projects of units and their progress and stressed the need to carry them out without fail.
Acquainting himself with farming at a number of farms in South Hwanghae Province, he underscored the need to finish the harvest, transport and thrashing of wheat and barley at an early date and push ahead with sowing as planned by selecting as second crops those strains with great possibility of yield and suited to the characteristics of fields and regions.
Earlier, he called at the Songyong Paints Factory and the Unsan Prospecting Machine Factory and pointed out practical issues and ways to improve the quality of products and actively promote the modernization of production processes by dint of science and technology.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues concerned before taking necessary measures.
