International Children's Day marked in DPRK
  The June 1 International Children's Day was celebrated in all parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
  The nurseries, kindergartens, baby homes and orphanages across the country were decorated with slogans such as "We Are the Happiest in the World!" and "We Are Happy!", stringed miniature flags, balloons and beautiful flowers. They were crowded with children, kindergarten and nursery school teachers and parents.
  Children gave art performances and played diverse folk, sports and amusement games at nurseries and kindergartens in the city of Pyongyang including the Kyongsang Kindergarten, the Pyongyang Orphanage, the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang March 3 Nursery.
  Colourful performances were given and various folk and amusement games playd by children at baby homes, orphanages, kindergartens and nurseries across the country including South and North Phyongan provinces, South Hwanghae Province, South Hamgyong Province and the city of Nampho.
  That day, children spent a pleasant time with their parents at commercial service amenities, parks and pleasure grounds throughout the country.
