Talks held between Secretary of CC of WPK and Secretary of General Council of United Russia Party
Talks were held in Moscow on the 25th between Ri Hi Yong, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the Party, on a visit to Russia as the head of the delegation of the WPK, and Vladimir Vladimirovich Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party and First Vice-Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia.
Present at the talks from the side of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were members of the delegation and the DPRK ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation and from the Russian side, members of the leadership of the United Russia Party and others concerned.
At the talks, realistic proposals were discussed to further expand bilateral exchanges and joint action between the ruling parties of the two countries in line with the relations of states of the DPRK and Russia developed into comprehensive strategic partnership and a consensus of agreement was made.
Also signed was the 2025--2027 protocol on expanding, intensifying and developing many-sided cooperation between the WPK and the United Russia Party.
