Second-stage project for remodelling Kumsong Tractor Factory inaugurated
The second-stage project for remodelling the Kumsong Tractor Factory was inaugurated with due ceremony on the 15th, declaring another proud change made with inexhaustible strength of our state and our economy.
Present at the inaugural ceremony were Pak Thae Song, Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; Kim Tok Hun, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea;Yang Sung Ho, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet; Ri Jae Nam, Chief Secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK; officials of the city and the factory and its employees, officials concerned, those who made contribution to the remodelling project and soldier-builders.

He said the project for remodelling the Kumsong Tractor Factory has been successfully finished according to the grand strategy for the development of the machine-building industry set forth by the Eighth Congress of the WPK, and added that it is an epochal fruition achieved in the implementation of the first-stage tasks presented by the Party Central Committee to the farm machine industry sector and a remarkable progress promising a bright prospect of rural rejuvenation to be further accelerated along with the vigorous development of the Juche-based industry.
He extended warm congratulations on bahalf of the Party and the government to the soldier-builders, workers of the factory and officials, scientists, technicians and working people in the city of Nampho and relevant units who built a strong pillar of the comprehensive mechanization of rural economy.
He called for making continued strenuous efforts to bring about substantial changes in the realization of farm mechanization and rural rejuvenation this year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the glorious WPK and to hasten the rosy future of our comprehensively developed state.
