The schoolchildren in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are firmly preparing themselves as reliable successors to glorify prospering Korea under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea. They are significantly celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation made by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and the 50th anniversary of the expedition of the journey opened by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.
The schoolchildren's expedition of the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation is the march of loyalty and succession of the new generations to grow into the true pillars and reserves for communist construction, keeping deep in their hearts the noble intention of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
More
than one million schoolchildren have taken part in the march over the
past 50 years.
Generalissimo Kim Il Sung made the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation alone in his teens with a firm pledge not to come back again before taking back the country from the brigandish Japanese imperialists, which was a sacred and patriotic journey that opened the new origin of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
In January 1975 Generalissimo Kim Jong Il ensured that the expedition of the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation was significantly made on a nationwide scale and traditionalized to make a turning point for firmly bringing up the rising generations as the reserves and backbone of the revolution.
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who regards it as an important issue to prepare the new generations as true successors firmly believing and following only the Workers' Party of Korea, saw to it that the schoolchildren carry on the 1,000-ri journey of revolution.
