Regional-industry factories inaugurated in Hamju County
Regional-industry factories were inaugurated with due ceremony in Hamju County of South Hamgyong Province, which were built as part of the work to implement the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy".
An inaugural ceremony of the regional-industry factories was held on the 18th.
Ri Jong Nam, Chief Secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made an inaugural address.
He said the inaugural ceremony of the regional-industry factories has been held significantly in Hamju County, demonstrating the lively reality of regional development in the new era. This exciting moment symbolizes the era of great turn and changes to be noteworthy in the history of the country and at the same time, clearly proves that the centuries-old desire of the people comes true, he added.
Ju Chang Sok, Chief Secretary of the Hamju County Committee of the WPK, made a speech and employees of the new factories cut the inauguration tape.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the factories fully equipped with modern production processes.
That day, a performance of artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe was given and fireworks were set off in celebration of the inauguration of the factories.
