Efforts made in field of mining industry to finish mineral and nonferrous metal production
The Ministry of Mining Industry is intensifying economic operation and command so that the mines and smelteries can conclude this year's undertakings with success.
The December 5 Youth Mine is studying and applying an advanced blasting method suited to the rock quality and raising the working rate of transport equipment, increasing the production of crystal mirabilite. The Songchon, Riwon and Phungnyon mines are improving the performance of concentration equipment and hoisting devices and making an active use of rational working methods, thus boosting the production.
The Munphyong Smeltery has carried out its yearly assignment under the national economic plan ahead of schedule through active technical innovation movement. The Manpho Smeltery is directing efforts to putting the process management on a scientific basis to ensure highly qualitative and quantitative level of the products.
