DPRK boxer wins gold medal at 2024 IBF World Youth Championship
  The DPRK boxer Son Su Rim took the first place in the 2024 IBF World Youth Championship held in Montenegro.
  The championship brought together more than 590 excellent men and women boxers from over 70 countries and regions including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Kazakhstan and France.
  Son Su Rim defeated all her rivals in the women's 60-kg event before advancing to the finals. She trounced her Chinese rival 3:2 in the final match, winning a trophy cup and a gold medal.
  Pak Sin A finished second in the women's 63-kg event.
  On the other hand, Choe Wi Hyon and Ri Phyong Gwang of the DPRK bagged silver medals in the men's 10-metre platform synchronized event, Kim Kyong Sim and Ri Hyang Sim in the women's 10-metre platform synchronized event and Ri Hyang Sim and Phyo So Yon in the women's 3-metre springboard synchronized event of the Eleventh Asian Diving Championship held in China some time ago.
  Choe Wi Hyon came third in the men's 10-metre platform individual event and Ri Hyang Sim in the women's 10-metre platform individual event.
