Award of AFC youth player of the year (women) 2023 conferred on Chae Un Yong of DPRK
She has become the third winner of the award in the DPRK in the wake of Ra Un Sim (2007) and Sung Hyang Sim (2017).
She distinguished herself as the captain of her team in the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup, winning the best player award.
