Project of ore-carrying system completed at Komdok Mining Complex
  The Komdok Mining Complex has successfully finished the project for rationally maintaining the ore-carrying system.
  The construction of a new transport system by conveyor No. 9 and transport tunnel by conveyor No. 72 to play an important role in the mineral production of the complex at present and in the future made it possible to perfect the material and technical foundations for carrying all the ores produced in the depth and upper layers by long-distance belt conveyor and opened a firm prospect to drastically increase the nonferrous metal production.
  The inaugural ceremony of the new system and tunnel was held on the 3rd.
  It was attended by Ri Jong Nam, Chief Secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry, officials and employees of the Komdok Mining Complex, and commanding officers and members of the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade.
  An inaugural address was made by Ryu Kwang Myong, Manager of the Komdok Mining Complex.
  After the ceremony, the participants looked round the system and the tunnel.
