National Foundation Day marked in DPRK
  An event of the National Foundation Day was held before the Mausoleum of King Tangun on the 3rd.
  Present there were Kang Yun Sok, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Myong Hun, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet, officials of the National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and relevant sectors, and working people in the city of Pyongyang.
  A memorial service for Tangun was held.
  Hwang Kwang Il, Director of the National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, made a commemorative report.
  He said this year marks the 30th anniversary of the reconstruction of the Mausoleum of King Tangun as a monumental creation in the era of the Workers' Party. He praised the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as peerless patriots and uncommon saints who glorified the long history and tradition of the nation.
  Thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the 5,000-year-long history and precious cultural heritage of the nation are shining more brilliantly along with our-state-first era, the reporter added.
