International Day of Elder Persons marked in DPRK
  The aged people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea enjoyed the International Day of Elder Persons.
  Art performances were given and sports and amusement games held and public catering and welfare service establishments rendered special services to the aged in the capital city of Pyongyang and different other places.
  War veterans, meritorious persons and other aged people in Pyongyang appreciated the opera "Eternal Victors" at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre.
  The aged people from the flood-hit areas, who are staying in Pyongyang under the concern of the Party and the state, enjoyed themselves on the day, appreciating art performances and playing various sports and amusement games.
  The aged played tennis and badminton in different places of the city.
  The Okryu and Chongnyu restaurants and other public catering amenities rendered sincere services to the aged.
