18th National Machine Design Festival closes
Present at the closing ceremony were Minister of Machine-Building Industry An Kyong Gun, officials concerned and working people.
Pennants and trophy cups were awarded to the exemplary units including the Control Machine Institute and the Modernization Institute under the State Academy of Sciences and Kim Chaek University of Technology.
Certificates and prizes were also awarded to the participants who presented good proposals to the festival.
Addressing the ceremony, a speaker called upon all the participants to develop a greater number of latest machinery and equipment and thus powerfully lead today's advance of great upsurge for thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.
