32nd Plenary Meeting of 14th Standing Committee of DPRK SPA held
The 32nd Plenary Meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on the 15th.
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK presided over the plenary meeting.
Present at the plenary meeting were Vice-Chairmen Kang Yun Sok and Kim Ho Chol, Secretary General Ko Kil Son and other members of the Standing Committee of the SPA.
Also on hand as observers were officials concerned of the Standing Committee of the SPA, the Secretariat of the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies.
The plenary meeting presented as agenda items the issue on calling a session of the SPA of the DPRK, the issue on examining and adopting the Socialist Materials Exchange Law and the Law on Management of Public Buildings, the issue on examining and adopting the amendment to the Law on Road Traffic and the Law on External Economy Arbitration and the issue on examining and approving the amendment to the Master Plan for Land Development of the Pyongyang-Nampho Area.
It first adopted a decision of the Standing Committee of the SPA on calling the Eleventh Session of the 14th SPA of the DPRK with unanimous approval.
Next, there was a report on the main contents of the draft laws concerned and the amendments examined at the Legislation Committee of the SPA.
The plenary meeting adopted with unanimous approval the decree of the Standing Committee of the SPA "On Adopting the Socialist Materials Exchange Law of the DPRK", "On Adopting the DPRK Law on Management of Public Buildings", "On Revising and Supplementing the DPRK Law on Road Traffic" and "On Revising and Supplementing the DPRK Law on External Economic Arbitration" on the basis of studying and discussing the bills presented.
It examined and approved the amendment to the Master Plan for Land Development of the Pyongyang-Nampho Area.
