Wreaths laid at martyrs cemeteries
  Wreaths were placed at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery on the 8th on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
  Guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the cemeteries.
  Present on the occasion were Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and officials of the Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the SPA, the Cabinet and armed forces organs.
  Placed on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were the wreaths in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
  All the participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs.
  Looking round the cemeteries, they laid flowers before the busts and tombs of revolutionary forerunners.
