Girl with Unusual Literary Talent
She was very fond of reading, drawing and making things from her kindergarten days. Perhaps for this, she took an interest in reproducing what she saw or heard through her own stories or drawings.
One day, she made different dolls and sculptures individually with colour clay and moved them to weave an interesting fairy tale in a plausible way, surprising her mother and kindergarten teachers. And she skilfully expressed what she saw, heard and felt while visiting different places with her parents on special occasions through drawings, writings and stories. So the adults praised her as a girl with excellent observation, thinking ability and literary expression.
After entering the primary school, Pak Jong So further developed her thinking ability and literary expression by reading books of different fields and writing diary under the guidance of her teacher.
In the course, she began to distinguish herself as a talent composing poems with literary discovery and suited to the juvenile mind, her teacher Kim Sun Hui said and continued:
"Jong So's writings are characterized by vivid and individual verbal expression. In her poems, she described the apartment houses in the new streets built every year under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea as the best masterpiece in the world and the Cape periwinkle blooming at the window of her house every day and ten marks she gets at school every day as twins. It clearly shows her excellent observation and thinking ability."
In the course of developing her literary talent, Pak Jong So further improved her thinking ability and expressive power. She could be successful in mathematics, foreign language and other subjects as well and achieve good results in school contests.
Some time ago, she presented her collection of works "Shining All over the World" to the respected fatherly Marshal
