Questions: About Folk Holidays in January

Now we present the first questions of the Quiz Show in 2025.
At this moment, we are reminded of the audience who showed their affection for Voice of Korea and the Korean people with their sincere answers to the questions of the Quiz Show last year.
In 2024 Voice of Korea presented 11 questions including the first one "About Famous Hot Springs in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea".
Of course, the listeners have got some information of the DPRK while listening to our broadcasting, but it was not that easy for them to find correct answers to each question.
Our dear listeners, however, devoted their time and passion to finding answers.
Guido Panebianco of Italy participated in the Quiz Show most last year.
He also sent numerous reception reports conducive to our broadcasting.
Liu Fang of China and Mario Aulhorn and Andreas Fessler of Germany also participated in the Quiz Show several times and sent correct answers to deeply impress us.
In particular, Liu Fang and Ke Ning aroused the admiration of the jury as they sent the answers based on rich data each time, though they have listened to Voice of Korea not so long.
They are all regular listeners to our broadcasting and close friends of the Korean people.
According to Jon Suk Gyong, proposer of questions of the Quiz Show, the participants sent not only their answers but also active suggestions.
Lopomo Antonio of Belgium said more and more people would participate in the Quiz Show if diverse ways are employed such as filling in blanks and multiple choice. Kiljermo Biagini of Argentina wanted us to present recent news of the DPRK and many questions about its history and tourism. Guido Panebianco of Italy encouraged us by writing in his e-mails that the questions were very interesting and sincere.
The Quiz Show last year was characterized by the participation of many new listeners.
More than 50 listeners took part in the Quiz Show for the first time and showed their sincerity. They included Mithila Yeasmin and Ashik Eqbal Tokon of Bangladesh, Stanislav of Russia, Yu Yue of China, Jeremy Bieringer of Germany and Alexandra Bogdanová of Slovakia.
This shows that Voice of Korea is loved by a larger number of the people and kept deep in their hearts.
We express deep thanks to those who loved and took an active part in the Quiz Show last year.
We will pursue diverse content and fresh styles of the Quiz Show this year, too, so as to get higher audience rating and form friendship with many people of different countries.
The theme of the Quiz Show in 2025 is "Let's Learn about Korea".
