World's Judo Queen Kye Sun Hui
  Kye Sun Hui drew the attention of the world judo circles between the latter half of the 1990s and the latter half of the 2000s. Known as the world's judo queen, she is the Kim Il Sung Prize Winner, Labour Hero and People's Athlete.
  She had unusually good physical fitness and motor sensation. She began to learn judo at the age of ten.
  She defeated the Japanese opponent in the finals of the 48-kilogram women's judo of the 26th Olympic Games held in Juche 85(1996) and became an Olympic gold medalist, winning fame as a "superstar of the world women's judo" and "miraculous person who startled the world women's judo circles".
  She was 16 years old at that time.
  For more than 10 years since then, she took part in many international games and made miraculous successes, creating a marvelous sports myth the world women's judo circles had never seen.
  At the 52-kilogram women's judo of the 2001 World Judo Championship held in Munich of Germany she defeated all her rivals and held the world championship.
  She came first at the 57-kilogram women's judo of the World Judo Championships in 2003, 2005 and 2007 and became a quadruple world champion. And she became a miraculous player who won in three different body weights.



  Now she is active as a chief coach of the Moranbong Sports Team. She is devoting all her wisdom and enthusiasm to bringing up world's judo stars.
