Acrylic Painting "Waves of Songgang"
Songgang is the abbreviation of the Songjin Steel Complex, a well-known metallurgical base in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The painting depicts the vigorous and raging waves of Songgang representing the ardent patriotic zeal of the workers of the complex.
It was created by People's Prize Winner, Doctor and People's Artist Kim Song Gun noted as waves painter in Juche 91(2002).
It is now preserved as a work of national treasure at the Korea National Art Museum.
