     (Why is Mt. Paektu called the sacred mountain of the revolution?)
  2. 예, 그것은 백두산이 조선혁명의 뿌리가 내린 곳이기때문입니다.
  우리 혁명의 개척자이신 위대한 수령 김일성동지께서는 백두산을 중심으로 15성상의 항일무장투쟁을 벌리시였습니다.
     Ye-gu-go-sun-baek-tu-sa-ni-jo-son-hyong-myong-ui-ppu-ri-ga-nae-rin-go-si-gi-ttae-mu-nim-ni-da. U-ri-hyong-myong-ui-gae-chok-ja-i-sin-wi-dae-han-su-ryong-gi-mil-sung-dong-ji-kke-so-nun-baek-tu-sa-nul-jung-si-mu-ro-si-bo-song-sang-ui-hang-il-mu-jang-thu-jaeng-ul-bol-li-si-yot-sum-ni-da.
     (It is because the Korean revolution took root on Mt. Paektu. The great leader Kim Il Sung, the pioneer of the Korean revolution, waged an anti-Japanese armed struggle around the mountain for 15 years.)

     (Yes, of course. You can visit secret camps including the Paektusan Secret Camp, a number of bivouacs, the Samjiyon and Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Sites and so on.)

  2. 예, 1930년대 후반기부터 1940년대 전반기까지 조선혁명의 사령부가 자리잡고있던 곳입니다. 또한 위대한 령도자 김정일동지께서 탄생하신 성지입니다. 백두산밀영에는 그 일대의 봉우리들가운데서 주봉을 이루는 정일봉이 솟아있습니다.
     Ye-chon-gu-baek-sam-sim-nyon-dae-hu-ban-gi-bu-tho-chon-gu-baek-sa-sim-nyon-dae-jon-ban-gi-kka-ji-jo-son-hyong-myong-ui-sa-ryong-bu-ga-ja-ri-jap-kko-it-tton-go-sim-ni-da. Tto-han-wi-dae-han-ryong-do-ja-gim-jong-il-dong-ji-kke-so-than-saeng-ha-sin-song-ji-im-ni-da. Paek-tu-san-mi-ryong-e-nun-gu-il-dae-ui-bong-u-ri-dul-ga-un-de-so-ju-bong-ul-i-ru-nun-jong-il-bong-i-so-sa-it-sum-ni-da.
     (The Headquarters of the Korean revolution was situated there from the latter half of the 1930s to the first half of the 1940s. The Paektusan Secret Camp is also a sacred place where the great leader Kim Jong Il was born. At the secret camp there is Jongil Peak, the main peak in the area.)

     Wi-dae-han-su-ryong-nim-kke-so-gye-si-don-sa-ryong-bu-gwi-thul-jip-gwa-wi-dae-han-jang-gun-nim-kke-so-than-saeng-ha-sin-baek-tu-san-mi-ryong-go-hyang-ji-bi-won-sang-gu-dae-ro-kku-ryo-jyo-it-sum-ni-da. Ku-ri-go-dae-won-sil-ja-ri-dul-gwa-u-dung-ppul-ja-ri-dul-dung-i-bal-gul-bo-jon-doe-yo-it-sum-ni-da.
     (There are the Headquarters log cabin where the great leader Kim Il Sung worked and the great leader Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, which were built in their original state. And the sites of barracks and campfire were unearthed and have been preserved.)
