Snowscape of the Rimyongsu Falls
The Rimyongsu Falls is a groundwater cascade in Samjiyon City, Ryanggang Province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.It has nine water courses.
It presents good views in all seasons and its scenery in winter is very conspicuous.
In winter frostwork is formed around the falls, presenting a superb view.
The water temperature of the falls is at least 4 degrees centigrade even in winter. When such water meets with cold air, the fog is formed, turning the area into a forest of beautiful frostwork.
The scenic Rimyongsu Falls has been designated as a natural monument and it is under custody.
