     Tong-mu-nun-ji-gum-myot-ssa-rim-ni-kka?
     (How old are you?)
  2. 23살입니다.
     Su-mul-se-sa-rim-ni-da.
     (I am 23 years old now.)
  1. 그러면 1999년에 출생했습니까?
     Ku-ro-myon-chon-gu-baek-gu-sip-gu-nyo-ne-chul-saeng-hat-sum-ni-kka?
     (Then, were you born in 1999?)
  2. 예, 옳습니다.
     Ye-ol-sum-ni-da.
     (Yes, I was.)
  1. 나와 동갑이로구만요.
     Na-wa-dong-ga-bi-ro-gu-man-yo.
     (We are both of an age.)
  2. 그래요? 생일은 언제입니까?
     Ku-rae-yo? Saeng-i-run-on-je-im-ni-kka?
     (Is that so? When is your birthday?)
  1. 5월 20일입니다. 동무의 생일은 언제입니까?
     O-wol-i-si-bi-rim-ni-da. Tong-mu-ui-saeng-i-run-on-je-im-ni-kka?
     (May 20. And when were you born?)
  2. 11월 22일입니다.
     Si-bi-rol-i-sip-i-il-im-ni-da.
     (I was born on November 22.)
  1. 그럼 오늘이 아닙니까?
     Ku-rom-o-nu-ri-a-nim-ni-kka?
     (Then, today is your birthday, isn't it?)
  2. 예.
     Ye.
     (Yes, it is.)
  1. 생일을 축하합니다.
     Saeng-i-rul-chu-kha-ham-ni-da.
     (Happy birthday to you!)
  2. 고맙습니다. 저녁에 손님들을 초청하려고 하는데 동무도 오십시오.
     Ko-map-sum-ni-da. Jo-nyo-ge-son-nim-du-rul-cho-chong-ha-ryo-go-ha-nun-de-dong-mu-do-o-sip-si-yo.
     (Thank you. I am going to invite some people in the evening. I hope you will come, too.)
